Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society was established in 1952 by the dynamic and visionary Late Shri Brijkrishan Chandiwala, a veteran Gandhian and philanthropist, in the memory of his illustrious father Late Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala. President of prominent social service organizations such as Bharat Sewak Samaj and Sadachar Samiti, Shri Brijkrishan Chandiwala was a simple man, endowed with a vision. Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society was established in 1952 by Shri Brijkrishn Chandiwala in the memory of his father Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala. Shri Brijkrishn Chandiwala was a freedom fighter and a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi.

This college was established in 1959 at Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi in affiliation with Delhi University. This college, besides imparting education in regular degree courses, provides a number of vocational training Programmes to the needy and poor girls to prepare them to be self-employed.

BCIMS located at Chandiwala Estate, Kalkaji, New Delhi is a major contribution of the Society towards health care. Started as a small dispensary in early 50s, today it is a multi-specialty with research facilities. Various departments at BCIMS include Eye, ENT, Dentistry, Orthopaedics & Physiotherapy, Cardiology, Pathology, Radiology, Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Psychology, Homoeopathy and Ayurvedic Dispensary.

BCIIT was established in 1999 in the serene environment of Chandiwala Estate. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).It offers three year programme in Master in Computer Application (MCA). The intake is of 60 students.

BCIP was established in 2003 at Chandiwala Estate, New Delhi. It runs four-and-a-half year Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) programme in affiliation with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi and is approved by Govt of NCT, Delhi. To provide practical & clinical experience the institute has linkages beside BCIMS, with many other hospitals. The intake is 60 students.

BCIPS was established in 2008 in the serene environment of Dwarka. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It offers two year programme in Master of Business Administration (MBA). The intake is of 60 students.

Chandiwala Estate in New Delhi has a state-of-the-art air-conditioned Sports Centre that supports the students in developing their competitive skills and physical health. The Centre has international-level facilities in Swimming, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Shooting, Boxing, Billiards/Snooker and Gymnastics. Every year the Society sponsors and organises “Banarsidas Chandiwala All India Invitation Cricket Tournament” for North India. Within the ambit of Sports Centre the Society runs a Boxing Academy, where promising youngmen are trained and developed into quality Boxers. Their entire expenses on education, training and boarding are duly borne by the Academy.
